HSBC Golf Zone at The Open Championship

DESIGN

To create a golfing experience for the golf savvy to the golf novice. This was about creating an opportunity in one space where crowds could gather and try their hand at a range of activities.

DELIVER

We modelled a space to cater for fans at The Open Championship incorporating experiences aimed at a range of visitors combining hands-on golf activities with state-of-the-art technology.

MEASURE

Since 2011 over 230,000 people have entered the HSBC Golf Zone with over 39,000 interactions with the activities in the 2017 zone alone. The area was also covered by the BBC, NBC and @TheOpenLive with a short video featuring Henrik Stenson, posted on HSBC’s social pages receiving more than a million views.
